This organization shall be known as the Police Traffic Officers Association of Bergen County, a branch of the New Jersey Police Traffic Officers Association.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of this organization is to organize police officers in a

central body and to keep them informed of the latest court rulings,

legislation, training and technology pertaining to traffic safety; to 

provide a forum to discuss proposed legislation, and to recommend and

support legislation to the appropriate authority. This association shall

provide guidance to members regarding uniform and consistent traffic

safety initiatives for all police departments throughout Bergen County.
